Associate Membership

A person shall be eligible for admission to Associate Membership if


He is a registered medical practitioner in Hong Kong SAR

He is proposed by two sponsors being medical practitioners of good standing, the proposer must be a Full Member or a Fellow of the College

He submits an application to the Honorary Secretary in the form prescribed by the Council

He gives an undertaking that he will, if elected:-

  • Uphold and promote to the best of his ability the aims and objectives of the College;
  • Observe and comply with the provisions of the Memorandum and Articles of Association and such Regulations and By-Laws of the College as may from time to time be in force;
  • Undertake and continue approved postgraduate study while he remains a member of the College

His application is approved by the Council.

Note : Sponsors are not required for Student Members applying for transfer to Associate Membership.
